I told everyone a week ago that the games WILL be 69.99 to 79.99 for 3rd party games and 59.99 for first party games. Its 1/3rd more expensive to develope on the ps3 and blu ray format is expensive to manufacture. thats why you can get hd dvd's at walmart right now for 19.99 and they run 24.99 to 45.99 for blu ray movies. The Majority of CASUAL gamers won't even think about spending 600 dollars for the ps3. So Sony can use its Evil Marketing. But With their high price point they have kicked themselves in the butt. And Microsoft will always adapt their console to what the gamers want. Hd dvd didn't copy blu ray. So if Microsoft chooses hd dvd add on its because they feel that some of their gamers want that as an option.

I agree. I can't wait. We will have to wait and see. November people will flock to the stores and decide which system to get. They will see both systems in the stores with demo units playing. They will see the ps3 with its 600 dollar price tag and if they are lucky 8 games. They will see the 360 at 300 dollars and over 100 games and by christmas 140 games. I do not care about the demo anymore. I was but now im just excited to play the game. 3d realms is all I need to know. I loved the duke nukem games and Prey looks spectacular. I think it will surprise the industry honestly. On G4 tv they were playing it and had the developer talking about it. It looks unbelievable and FUN.
